You add to the shop's basket, the way you always have
Grand Total does not interfere with the purchase. It sees that you put something in the basket, says so once, and leaves Undo standing beside it. The list went from three items to four, and the total on the phone went with it — up by 79.00 kr, which is what the caulking gun costs at the shop that wins it, not the 95.00 kr on the screen.

We note the item — and say what we do not know yet
You carry on at the same shop, the bit set goes into the basket, and the list stands at five. The badge sticks to what is true so far: how many items are on the list, and that cheaper exists elsewhere. How much cheaper it cannot say yet — shipping is charged per order, so an item-by-item answer would be wrong until the list is finished.

Change shop. The list does not start over
Look at the window: another shop, in another shop's colours, with another item — and the shop's own basket, which started at zero. The list did not start at zero. The five from before are there, the paint roller becomes the sixth, and the total moves again. The list lives with us and not in a shop's basket, so it follows you from page to page and from shop to shop — and it has its own address, which you can open on the phone.

When you are done, the whole price arrives
Six items, 1,056.00 kr delivered: 860.00 kr at Værktøjshuset, where the shipping falls away above 799, and 196.00 kr at Hus & Have with 39.00 kr to the parcel shop. It is measured against one particular alternative — finishing the whole purchase at the shop you are standing in, which costs 1,163.00 kr. Not against the cheapest single shop and not against buying item by item, because both would be a yardstick we had chosen ourselves.

Two baskets, three items in each, at the shops themselves and with the shops' own prices. You finish the purchase there — we never put anything in a checkout for you, and we do not type your card or delivery details anywhere.

The figures are made up. The arithmetic is what the site does.

The cheapest price per item is not the cheapest basket. Here every single item is cheapest in the left column, and the right column is still 102 kr. cheaper — and one parcel instead of three.

Above the threshold: the shipping is gone. The last 113 kr. of goods came along without costing a krone in delivery.

What does Grand Total cost?
Nothing, and there is no account. We earn commission on some of the links that lead on to a shop. It does not change the order: that is decided by the total price delivered and by nothing else.
Why is the cheapest price per item not the cheapest basket?
Because shipping is charged per order and not per item. Follow the lowest price on five items and you end up at five shops paying shipping five times — and that can easily come to more than gathering the whole list at one shop, where the shipping is free.
What do you measure the saving against?
Against finishing the whole purchase at the shop you are standing in. Not against the cheapest single shop and not against buying item by item, because both would be a yardstick we had chosen ourselves.
Which browsers does the extension work in?
Chrome and Edge run it as it is, and the Firefox and Safari editions build with one command. None of them has been published in a browser store yet, and until then the list can be worked out on the site without installing anything.
What do you keep about me?
There is no account and no e-mail. The list sits at an address that cannot be guessed, and the extension has no access to a shop until you switch that shop on yourself.
